In the Mission: Impossible movie series, Pegg has had a recurring role in Part III (2006), Ghost Protocol (2011) and Rogue Nation (2015). He acted in the film Big Nothing in 2006 and partnered with Wright again to make the second of the Cornetto Trilogy Hot Fuzz (2007). He also starred in The Good Night and Run Fatboy Run in 2007.

Pegg starred in the 2008 British comedy How to Lose Friends and Alienate People and 2009’s Star Trek, reprising his character in 2013’s Star Trek: Into Darkness. Before that he starred in 2010’s Burke and Hare, co-authored and starred in Paul (2011), starred in A Fantastic Fear of Everything (2012) and voice-acted in the animations Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs</em> (2009), Chronicles of Narnia: Voyage of the Dawn Treader (2010) and The Adventures of Tintin: The Secret of the Unicorn (2011). In 2013, The World’s End, the final film of the Cornetto Trilogy, was released.
