Shereé Whitfield net worth

By Suren Prasad

American socialite, TV personality and a housewife on the reality series The Real Housewives of Atlanta, Shereé Whitfield’s net worth is reported to be in the thousands.

Native of Shaker Heights, Ohio, Shereé Whitfield (née Shereé Fuller) was born on January 2, 1970.

In 2003, Shereé Whitfield went into the business of fashion garments, launching her own boutique named Bella Azul, which boasted works from designers such as Catherine Malandrino, Y&Kei and Peter Som. It had to be closed down in August 2006, as Whitfield was trying to popularise her own line of designer wear called She by Sheree. Bella Azul reportedly turned out annual sales of about £174,600 in its three years of operations.

How did Whitfield become a millionaire?

Whitfield was then cast in Season One of The Real Housewives of Atlanta (RHOA), as a part of the original cast and one of the full-time housewives, in October 2008. Her very first season was marked by a lot of friction between NeNe leakes and herself. She was reportedly being paid a salary of £413,930.

In April 2012, Whitfield announced after Season Four of RHOA that she would stop appearing in the reality series. However, in September 2015, Bravo TV released an announcement regarding Whitfield rejoining the show for Season Eight, although in a supporting role.

Her other TV appearances include Who Wants to Be a Millionaire, The Game, The Ellen DeGeneres Show, The Bonnie Hunt Show, and the 2009 Soul Train Awards.

Already into motherhood with a daughter, Tierra (born 1985), Whitfield first met NFL star and future husband Bob Whitfield in 1993. Their marriage lasted till 2007, with the couple divorcing on October 3, where Shereé did not receive any alimony, but got a lump sum divorce settlement of £583,264 plus a marital property of £827,860 and a part of Bob’s NFL retirement plans. Later, in October 2012, Whitfield’s ex-husband was made to give her £56,445 in lieu of 38 successive payments of £1,612 in child support that he did not honour. Bob had to file for bankruptcy in 2015.

Whitfield owed £216,750 in back taxes according to a report by American celebrity gossip magazine Life & Style in June 2015.
