Scott Thomas Net Worth

By Suren Prasad

Standing third on the British dating reality show Love Island, party animal and Manchester ‘entrepreneur’, Scott Thomas is reckoned to have a net worth in the thousands.

Born on August 11, 1988 in Manchester, England, Scott Thomas is a club promoter and director of The Social, a PR agency. He is also the brother of two other famous soap opera stars, Ryan Thomas (Coronation Street) and Adam Thomas (Waterloo Road and Emmerdale), with Adam being his fraternal twin.

How did Thomas get his fame?

Thomas was chosen to participate on the second series of ITV’s newly revived British reality dating show from 2005-06, Love Island, which began on May 30, 2016, due to his penchant to throw parties in the city.

The first of the revived series was launched by ITV2 in June 2015. The second, from May to July, 2016, was once again hosted by British TV and radio presenter Caroline Flack.
Surviving seven weeks on the show, Thomas came in third along with makeup artist Kady Mcdermott, whom he later proposed to go steady with him.

Unlike the original series from 2005-06, contestants in the revived one are not celebrities. This series was won by Cara de la Hoyde and Nathan Massey on July 11, 2016. Re-commissioned, the show will be returning in 2017.

After Love Island, Thomas was lassoed by fashion e-tailer boohoo.com (in whose sample room he worked before getting into PR and club promotion) to model for their latest casual wear collection. Along with this work, McDermott and Thomas have posed for the cover of OK! and also appeared on ITV’s daytime TV programme hosted by Philip Schofield and Holly Willoughby among others, This Morning.

Thomas is some sort of a social media phenomenon, having 260,000 Twitter followers and 600,000 Instagram followers, and counting. His net worth is still under review and reckoned to be in the thousands.
