Paulson soon starred in the TV series American Gothic (1995-96), Cracker: Mind Over Murder: True Romance: Part 1 (1997) Jack & Jill (1999-01), Touched by an Angel: Manhunt (2001) and Leap of Faith (2002). In between, she starred in the films Levitation (1997) and The Long Way Home (1998, TV movie), while appearing in Shaughnessy (1996, TV movie) and the Off-Broadway Killer Joe (1998-99).
