Spear’s Review
A former news editor of the News of the World, Neil McLeod is something of a press sage – bringing the insight of a story-crafting news executive to the inner workings of crisis management.
Alongside Phil Hall, McLeod was central to PHA’s award-winning support for Sir Cliff Richard in his four-year dispute against the BBC following the widely publicised South Yorkshire raid of his home.
He is eager to extol the benefits of media training and advocates ‘having a plan in place should the worst happen,’ according to the firm.
McLeod started his newspaper career on the Newham Recorder in 1996 after graduating in journalism at the London College of Printing. He regularly writes in the national press on all reputation matters.
