We are pleased to announce that Lord Browne has been appointed Chairman of Stanhope Capital’s Advisory Board.
Formerly Group Chief Executive of BP, Lord Browne is currently Managing Partner (Europe) of Riverstone Holdings LLC. He is also Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Tate Gallery and President of the Royal Academy of Engineering. In June 2010, Lord Browne was appointed as the UK Government’s Lead Non-Executive Director, charged with recruiting business leaders to reform departmental boards.
As Chairman of Stanhope’s newly formed Advisory Board, Lord Browne will help to shape the future development of the firm. Whilst remaining entirely dedicated to providing its clients with the highest quality of service, Stanhope aims at pursuing the expansion of its wealth management activities internationally and further strengthening its presence in the world of charities and endowments. At this exciting stage in the life of the firm, Lord Browne’s vast experience will be extremely helpful both to the company and its clients.
