Joshua Ritchie Net Worth

By Suren Prasad

Bolton lad, football enthusiast and one of the stars of ITV’s Love Island and MTV’s Ex on the Beach, Joshua Ritchie’s net worth is under review.

Joshua Ritchie was born on May 21, 1994 in Bolton, Greater Manchester, England. Working as a joiner he also did a few modelling gigs on the side before being chosen as one of 12 contestants to participate on the ITV2 reality show Love Island.

How does Ritchie earn his money?

Ritchie previously revealed that he had no plans on hitching up on Love Island and wanted to spend the £50,000 prize money on property development―if he won.

Broadcast over a decade ago in 2005 and 2006 on ITV, the British dating reality programme Love Island was revived and launched in June 2015 on ITV2, with a setting in Majorca, Spain. Although the original show had celebrity contestants, the revived one chose common people to participate. The second series of the revived show ran from May to July 2016. The show, narrated by Iain Stirling and hosted by Caroline Flack, will be recommissioned for a third series to be aired in 2017.

Ritchie managed to grab third place alongside partner Lauren Richardson in the first of the revived series, with Jessica Hayes and Max Morley coming up winners.
The Bolton lad, who plays for a local football club, has also been selected to be part of the cast for Series Six of MTV’s Ex on the Beach (begun on January 17, 2017) along with Harriet Harper, Geordie Shore stars Zahida Allen and Aaron Chalmers, Maisie Gillespie, Ross Worswick, ZaraLena Jackson and Alex Leslie.

The first series of Ex on the Beach was aired in April 2014. With eight women and eight men participating in this British reality show, the latest series, which began on January 17, 2017, is set in Crete, Greece.
