Jeremy McConnell net worth

By Suren Prasad

Irish model and reality TV star of Celebrity Big Brother fame, former Mr. Dublin and Mr. Ireland runner-up, Jeremy McConnell has a reported net worth of £400,000.

Born Adrian Jeremy McConnell-Cooke to Valerie and Eugene Cooke on February 22, 1990, in Dublin, Ireland, Jeremy McConnell was raised by his mother in County Wicklow after his dad and she split when he was just a year old.

How did McConnell make thousands?

At 15, McConnell’s mum died of brain haemorrhage and, within the space of 15 months, his brother David broke his neck in a motorbike accident and his sister (who suffered from epilepsy) died of heart failure. At 17, McConnell dropped out of school for a career in professional football, playing for Bohemians FC and Shelbourne FC. However, this ended soon after.

He later went into modelling and won the Mr. Dublin title, while emerging runner-up at the Mr. Ireland competition, in 2012.
In 2013, McConnell was selected for the MTV reality show Beauty School Cop Outs (October-December), which is about contestants trying to become beauticians.

McConnell was then invited as a housemate on the 17th Series of the British TV show Celebrity Big Brother, which began on January 5, 2016. The sixth to be evicted during his 25-day stay, he got close to Stephanie Davis, a fellow housemate, although she was seeing model Sam Reece. However, McConnell and Davis split a couple of months later, in April.
Davis and McConnell’s on/off relationship resulted in a baby boy Caben-Albi George Davis, on January 13, 2017. Disputing the paternity at first, the 27-year-old McConnell confirmed it after positive DNA testing on the show This Morning.
The former Big Brother stars are favourites to be cast on this year’s show Celebrity Big Brother’s ‘Summer Legends’, to commemorate its 20th series.

According to PR Rob Cooper, McConnell and Davis could be the next Peter Andre and Katie Price in terms of furthering their reality show earnings. If their romance is rekindled in front of the audience, the next three months could earn the couple £250,000. However, in the event of a public break-up, they have the potential to make bigger dough, namely £100,000. Ultimately, whether they are together, or split, the reality stars could go home with a cool £500,000.
Although signed up for the upcoming series of the MTV reality show Ex on the Beach, the ex-model might not be appearing this time due to an alleged assault case drawn against him.

Recently, his dad died due to cancer on March 3, 2017 and his aunt died on March 10, 2017.
