She started her career in 2006 after completing her makeup studies. Her first job was Account Manager with the beauty brand Laura Mercier.
She later moved to London in 2012 where she has worked in Selfridges with Global Company Trish McEvoy, Google London, Youtube London, Above & Beyond Group and Cannes as makeup designer.
Working as makeup artist in London, McCoy also worked in the fashion, commercial and film industry. She then returned to Ireland where she worked as Head Makeup Artist on film. McCoy also worked in Ibiza where she worked as Creative Makeup Designer. After a stint in Ibiza, McCoy moved back to London working as Head Makeup Designer in recent film productions.
