Claudio Ranieri Net Worth

By Spear's

Former player and Italian football manager Claudio Ranieri has an estimated net worth of £5 million.

Born October 20, 1951, Ranieri is the current manager of English club Leicester City. He began playing football at his neighbourhood church and has since played for Roma, Catanzaro, Catania and Palermo.

How did Ranieri make his millions?

He began his managerial career at Vigor Lamezia, then guided F.C. Pozzuoli. Between 1988 and 1991 Ranieri was the manager of Cagliari. During that period he led the team from Series C1 to Serie A in successive seasons. He later went on to manage Napoli, where he led the team to qualify for the UEFA Cup, but was sacked the following season.

In 1997, Ranieri moved to Spain and was overseeing Valencia and then Atlético Madrid. He helped Valencia to win Copa del Rey in 1999 and UEFA Intertoto Cup in 1998.
Ranieri moved to England in 2000. Between 2000 and 2004 he was managing Chelsea, and then had a season at Valencia and they won UEFA Super Cup in 2004.

Since 2007 Ranieri stayed in Italy and managed Parma, Juventus, Roma and Internazionale. In May 2012 he was appointed the manager of AS Monaco and saw the team make it to Ligue 1 in his first season and reach the Champions League in the second.

In 2014 Ranieri parted ways with Monaco and took charge of the Greece national team.
Ranieri returned to England once more in the summer of 2015 as manager of Leicester City. He went on to win the 2015–16 Premier League and was named the 2016 Premier League Manager of the Season, and LMA Manager of the Year. He was also awarded the Grand Officer of the Italian Order of Merit and the Enzo Bearzot Award as best Italian manager of the year.
