What is Christine Lampard’s net worth?

By Suren Prasad

Wife of English footballer Frank Lampard, BBC and ITV presenter Christine Lampard has a guesstimated net worth well over £6 million.

Who is Christine Lampard?
The eldest of two daughters born to Mina and Frederick Bleakley on February 2, 1979, in Newry, Northern Ireland, Christine Louise Bleakley is a TV presenter and the wife of former English and Chelsea football star Frank Lampard.

Childhood
Raised in Newtownards, Christine Lampard studied at Bloomfield Collegiate School in Ballyhackmore, Belfast.

Education and career
While still at Bloomfield, Lampard started her TV career as a runner at BBC NI, and while taking her school A-levels, she went on to become a floor manager. Between 1995 and 1997, she worked as a newsreader and presenter at Belfast Citybeat (now Q Radio).
Although Lampard studied politics at Queen’s University Belfast, she chose a TV career instead of completing her degree.

BBC and ITV

Lampard continued working with BBC NI starting with their comedy show Give My Head Peace. Her other BBC shows include First Stop, Let Me Entertain You, The One Show, NI Wags, Britain’s Classroom Heroes, Sky High and The National Lottery Draws and Sport Relief.
Quitting BBC, Lampard joined ITV in 2010, where she became co-presenter of Daybreak. Her other ITV shows include: Christmas telethon Text Santa, Simply Red: For the Last Time, Duran Duran: One Night Only, National Movie Awards, West Life: For the Last Time, Dancing on Ice, Off the Beaten Track, This is Lionel Richie and That Dog Can Dance, This Morning, Michael Flatley: A Night to Remember, Spandau Ballet: True Gold, Roman Britain from the Air and Darcy Oake: Edge of Reality, Wild Ireland, Loose Women and Lorraine.

In 2017, she returned to BBC NI, to co-host Christine and Adrian’s Friendship Test with Adrian Chiles.
Earlier, before Lampard’s ITV move, BBC had proposed a £900,000, two-year contract, which they later retracted. Her ITV move was reportedly bringing her over £6 million for a period of three years. During this time, The Mirror suggested that the TV presenter was earning £24,163 per show or about £400 per minute.

Strictly Come Dancing
A contestant on Strictly Come Dancing in 2008, Lampard and her partner Matthew Cutler were eliminated on November 30.

Charity
Lampard has raised nearly £1.4 million for Sport Relief, which included waterskiing across the English Channel—the first person to do so. She is a patron of Cancer Research UK and The Prince’s Trust.

Christine Lampard’s non presenting work
After launching her company Chrisola Entertainment Limited in 2009, Lampard debuted as a stand-up comedian on Channel 4’s Comedy Gala in 2010. That year and the next, Lampard was one of the judges for the Pride of Britain Awards. At the end of 2011, she released her fitness DVD titled Christine Bleakley – The Workout.

In 2014, Lampard became the brand ambassador for the anti-perspirant brand Soft & Gentle.
She also co-hosted Celebrity Haunted Hotel Live and Celebrity Haunted Mansion for W channel (UKTV), in 2016 and 2018 respectively.

Personal life
Lampard lives with her husband and three daughters, Luna, Isla and Patricia Charlotte (the first two born to Frank’s former fiancée Elen Rivas), in their £10 million house in Chelsea, London.
