Top Seven Family Office Advisers
The sector is ‘going through a transformative change’, says Charlotte Filsell, Sandaire’s head of relationship management. ‘Client needs are evolving – we will soon be serving five distinct generations with very different needs.’
Besides relationship building, her expertise lies in analysing UHNWs’ risk appetite in accordance with their life goals. But Filsell is prepared to ‘evolve and adapt’ to the needs of the wide range of wealthy families she looks after, and being one of the industry’s rising stars helps.
The CFA charter-holder, who is also a fellow of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment, is described by peers as ‘perceptive and thoughtful’.
Filsell started out at HSBC Asset Management, in a role which involved advising a range of international private clients. Eight years later, she moved to an advisory role at UBS to build on her investment knowledge. In 2007, she returned to HSBC’s private banking arm to engage with key clients within the complex multi-asset class landscape, where she was made head of investment counsellors for the UK and Channel Islands, as well as
a member of the bank’s London investment committee. She joined Sandaire’s client relationship management team in 2015.
