Top Recommended HNW Wealth Managers
Rapid expansion continues at Julius Baer, even though more than a year has passed since Annabel Bosman first discussed it with Spear’s. Openings in Glasgow, Manchester and Leeds have further fortified the firm’s footprint up North – pleasing news for the personable Yorkshire-born Bosman.
‘It’s great that we’re thinking beyond the M25,’ Bosman enthuses. ‘We recognise that wealth creation isn’t just in London and that people may want relationship managers who understand the nuances of that particular region.’
It’s been three years since her move from Deutsche Bank to join Julius Baer’s relationship management and wealth planning division. The firm’s main pull factor then was a clear focus, she says: ‘Wealth management is all we do – you lose some of the noise that you might get out of an investment bank, for example.’
Bosman recently celebrated 20 years in the industry: ‘Most of us are dinosaurs… I’m really excited to see how the next gen grabs it and moves it on to the next level.’
At a discussion at her old college, sustainable, responsible and impact investment was the talk of the town. ‘There’s a real opportunity there,’ Bosman says, ‘for those who can get that right.’
