Eleanor Lindsay-Fynn was on the spot at Art Basel Miami Beach to capture the art world at work, rest and play
Eleanor Lindsay-Fynn is making an art out of observing art, photographing all she sees as she immerses herself in the creative world. With that in mind, she was just the person to capture the essence of December’s Art Basel Miami Beach exclusively for Spear’s.
Lindsay-Fynn is working on a long-term project on the art world and plans to produce an exhibition that, as well as presenting the physical work in the form of photography, film and digital paintings, will also contain a performative aspect.
After studying physics at Cambridge, she turned her attention to sociology and documentary photography, completing a masters in photography and urban culture at Goldmiths in 2006. In 2008 she exhibited at the Royal Academy’s summer exhibition and won the Exposure Award from the Royal West of England Academy, and in 2009 she was one of the winners of the international Flash Forward competition.
