Robert Pattinson is estimated to be worth £69 million. He was born in London to parents Richard and Clare.

Pattison became involved in amateur theatre at the Barnes Theatre Company. He auditioned and was cast in a small role in Guys and Dolls. Whilst performing in a production of Tess of the d’Urbervilles he caught the attention of an acting agent and began looking for professional roles.

In 2005 he played the role of Cedric Diggory in Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire. He was named that year’s “British Star of Tomorrow” by The Times and was frequently compared to the likes of Jude Law.

The following year Pattinson appeared in The Haunted Airman (2006) earning favourable reviews. He later starred in a one-off television drama, The Bad Mother’s Handbook (2007).

Pattinson landed the role of Edward Cullen in the film Twilight (2008) based on the popular novel by Stephanie Meyer. The film was released in November and turned Pattinson into a movie star overnight.

During that same year Pattinson starred in the low-budget comedy How to Be. He also starred as Salvador Dali in Little Ashes and a short film The Summer House.

He reprised his role as Edward Cullen in the Twilight sequel The Twilight Saga: New Moon (2009). The film earned a record-breaking $142 million during its opening weekend alone. He also starred in The Twilight Saga: Eclipse (2010) and The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 1 and 2 (2011/2012).

2010 saw Pattinson produce and star in Remember Me, grossing $56 million at the box office.

In late 2013 he appeared in a black and white short film with model Camille Rowe as the new face of Dior Homme Fragrances.

His latest releases include The Rover (2014) and Maps to the Stars (2014). He is expected to star in Queen of the Desert, Life and The Childhood of a Leader.

He will begin filming The Lost City of Z alongside Benedict Cumberbatch in January 2015.

Pattinson supports and promotes the ECPAT UK’s campaign Stop Sex Trafficking of Children and Young People. He has donated his own artwork to the cause which was auctioned on eBay, including a sketch which auctioned for $6,400. In March 2014 he donated autographed items for auction to raise funds for the Prostate Cancer Research Foundation.

He owns a Spanish-style $6 million mansion in Hollywood, Los Angeles. He drives a Chevy Silverado pickup truck.
