As The Frieze Art Fair approaches there is a sense of urgency amongst London’s artist community, the pressure is on to compete and prepare for the massive traffic of art buyers, collectors and VIPS about to hit London for ‘Frieze Week’.

This October Artist Eleanor Lindsay Fynn will be topping all expectations with a bold stunt aimed at the 100,000s of art lovers that will be passing through Regents Park station on their way to The Frieze Art Fair. As part of Art Below’s most prestigious takeover of advertising space to date, Eleanor Lindsay-Fynn has been invited to take over an entire platform where she will be unveiling new work from her ‘yellow faces’ series aimed directly at the art world.

She has chosen to focus on a particular strand of ‘yellow faces’ that documents her experiences surfing the wave of the International Art Scene. Posters of beguiled art fair visitors wearing strange yellow masks will sit next to her documentary photography; one poster will include an exclusive after party scene at Miami Basel featuring a treasure trove of the art world’s biggest players including Jay Joplin, Larry Gagosian, Bob Colacello, Alberto Mugrabi, Aby Rosen and Nikky Hilton.

‘What better audience to present this kind of work to than those on their annual commute to Lon- don’s biggest art event of the year?’ says Ben Moore of Art Below ‘We are really excited to work with Eleanor on this project, no one will understand her work more than Frieze goers and if they don’t understand it on their way to Frieze they will definitely understand it on their way back!’

On the neighboring platform Art Below are playing host to this year’s 20 finalists of the Channel 4 and Saatchi New Sensations Award. Eleanor herself was selected as one of the 20 finalists in 2007 when Saatchi first launched the New Sensations Award.

Since then she has gone onto exhibit at the Royal Academy in London, the White Box Gallery in New York, and was awarded best newcomer by the Royal West of England Academy. It was during her exhibition at the Royal Academy that Lindsay-Fynn had a revelation that was to be the start of ‘Yellow Faces’.

‘I was in a room surrounded by people that were connected to one another only through the element of space but I felt that the social presence in that room was somewhat inhuman; plenty of individualism but without a sense of empathy and without a connection,' says Lindsay-Fynn. The artist reworked this image in her mind and from that she created a new imaginary space where the protagonists’ faces were transformed into yellow faces.

To coincide with her platform exhibition Eleanor Lindsay-Fynn is launching Top Floor Hoxton Square, an exclusive new event and gallery space. The space will infuse art, music and performance to bring an innovative and engaging experience to London's elite.  With its emphasis on thought provoking interaction the venue boasts a natural ability to attract a diverse elite of art connoisseurs.

Backed by The Institute of Art And Ideas (IAI) and Crunch Festival, two societies at the forefront of the synthesis between art and philosophy, Top Floor is committed to developing an intimate dialogue between audience, art and space to bring a truly unparalleled experience. Their launch show, ‘A Step Inside the Art World,’ will bring together some of UK's most exciting visual artists, including Sarah Maple, Hayden Kays, Miriam Elia, Jane Simpson and of course Eleanor Lindsay-Fynn herself.
