Ed Vaizey on Philanthropy at the Conservative Party Conference
Ed Vaizey on Philanthropy
Date: Tuesday, 4 October 2011
Time: 5.30-7pm
Venue: Derby Suite, Midland Hotel
Spear’s continues its focus on philanthropy with a talk by Culture Minister Ed Vaizey at the Conservative Party Conference 2011. Mr Vaizey will be speaking about how to encourage high-net-worths to give and — more generally — how Britain can become more philanthropic.
Philanthropy is Spear’s key theme for 2011 and beyond. As the wealthy get wealthier and social, medical and artistic problems continue to grow, the role of the high net worth in solving these problems becomes more important. From interviewing philanthropists like John Studzinski and Ernesto Bertarelli to profiling the 25 people in philanthropy you need to know, we have kept the subject at the top of the high-net-worth agenda.
