Goldman Sachs faces a fourth quarter loss of as much as $2 billion, according to industry insiders cited in the Wall Street Journal.

Goldman Sachs faces a fourth quarter loss of as much as $2 billion, according to industry insiders cited in the Wall Street Journal.

The loss would be the first ever for Goldman since it went public in 1999. the loss would equate to $5 per share, more bearish than a recent estimate of a $4 per share loss by Susan Roth Katze of Credit Suisse which contributed to falls in its share price on Monday.
